Texas Royalty participates with a diverse group of investors, both industry and private, to fund most of the opportunities we find in the business. The most common investment vehicle used for our drilling projects has been the Joint Venture. The Joint Venture structure optimizes tax benefits and affords the highest level of investor decision making to our partners.

 

We have also used Limited Partnerships for the acquisition of producing properties. The Limited Partnership structure grants Texas Royalty the flexibility to find and negotiate the most favorable production packages for the benefit of our limited partners.

 

When dealing with investors, we have a strong bias toward operating our own wells, particularly if they are in our primary area of interest, the East Texas Basin. The advantage to you, our investor, is that Texas Royalty oversees geological, engineering, land, accounting, drilling, completion and production services for our partners.
